INFLUENCE.

"Wait up all alone just to dream away the time
Weight upon my collarbones don’t seem to pay no mind
The day the world died I didn’t even say goodbye
I left a love letter in a secret place to hide that said
I’d give concern but I’m a disconcerted immature kid
Insecure when I am quickly searching for a bridge to burn it
If I twist and turn until the blisters hurt it isn’t worth it
If it’s served with sense of urgency to see me binge and purge it
I’ve lived and learned and learned to live to misinterpret nervous twitches
Pistons turning hurt to bliss it’s picture perfect
And since I’ve learned a circus trick of inadvertent perfect-pitch
To skim a surface worse than this I’m in to get deserted, when I ask" -sadistik.

BACK AT IT.

full time wrenching, giving a hand on builds, and spreading the word to all interested.

today me and a buddy picked up his 7mgte and it went like this.

but before you read this, i want you to realize the struggle this kid went through to get this motor. about 4 weeks ago i traded my car for a 87 cressida and on the same day on the way over to get my car from my house we found Michael on the side of the freeway with his celica supra that had developed a very healty rod knock. from there his car was towed home (after fest.) and the dude was cool enough to let me borrow his steering wheel to limp my x7 home. from there he was looking everyday to find a motor that wasnt going to break his bank or require stupid amounts of work to get it running. so a couple days ago he lets me know he found a guy with a 7mgte he wanted to buy at a fair price. we get there and that fair price turned into the biggest steal ive ever seen for a 7mgte with wiring harness, ecu and automatic trans. Michael has never used a hoist before, never maneuvered an engine while in the air, and had never been to a harbor freight (spent an hour there looking around at all the goodies lol, you dont just go into a store like that and not show somebody whos never been there around..)

but Michael, you did a damn good job, hats off to you man.

Alright, i got my 7mgte today! It was the biggest pain the ass trying to get it into a pathfinder SUV!!! Plus the god damn ghetto rigged chains and clips we used to get it to work was just ridiculous!!! Then getting it out, i had a mini heart attack. The thing had to practically fall out of the freakin SUV so we could get some tension on the chains for the cherry picker. Well, now i have the engine sitting in the garage after a whole days work. Tomorrow, its time to begin the tear down and rebuild, and start taking off the r154 tranny and take off the head to replace seals and the head gasket. Once the engine is all fixed up and ready to go, it will be time to move on and take the 5mge out of the supra and the swap will commence!!!!! Thanks againGray Holloway for helping me out today. It really means alot man! I will take some pics tomorrow

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL.

you know you love us.

4$ for small.

12$ for a banner.

CHAIN OF EVENTS.

i dont have "free nasty" the blue complety rusty gnarled rear fender 90 nissan stanza that represented majestic garage at the meets, the face book page and even this crappy fucking blog lol. i now actually have a oil burning, lean running, no suspension 87 toyota cressida. what happened was the stanza was becoming a car i wanted but didnt have the time to do the engine swap (sr20ve) and wanted something i could build more for the aspect of drifting rather than e brake and praying lol. my buddy aaron had a cressida that the driver side from lca had come loose and came apart and fucked up the fender, disconnected the swaybar, and snapped the brakeline. from there i had a daily driver to trade, he agreed and we went from there. it was nice because the car does mach his personality exactly, from the flower kyusha knob to the rusted over fender hiding american racing mini vettes.

AFTER. the deal was said and done, we got the cressida home and day 2.. i began wrenching.

this is what i started with.
this is what it sits like now.

all in all i love it already, after all the work already done.... i still need to start pulling the EGR, put an exhaust together for it, make my own aero bits work for it, wake up my 5mge, manual swap.. basically all the shit you do so you can get a little seat time at the track.
